The Brief
AVC were asked to install a reliable, high-performance audio and video conferencing system to increase the company’s main boardroom connectivity and compatibility for a number of different scenarios and external systems.
The Solution
Where practical the main screens and in-desk displays were reused as were the existing speakers which were already of a high standard.
The video distribution system was upgraded and the room’s old Cisco Track camera was replaced with an Aver PTC500plus AI tracking camera system.
The audio signal processer was also replaced to allow Blustream Dante audio Signal integration. Extra cabling was added where necessary and the AV racks completely reconfigured to accommodate the upgrades.
The Result
The boardroom now features a high end, user friendly, pre-set wireless presentation and collaboration system accommodating Microsoft Teams, Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and Bring Your Own Meeting (BYOM) connectivity.
Full room control is provided via a touch screen Poly Control Panel. This offers access to everything from control of the room blinds to which delegate seat position is presenting the meeting.
Audio levels and video routing can all be independently selected and controlled. Specific setups can be saved and recalled at any time with a simple button touch.

Remote connections can be accommodated with ease. Simple pre set options means new users and connections can be quickly and easily embraced, and with individual control of each delegate position, no one need be excluded.
